Owner’s Favorite

2020 Rose

Our Grenache, Syrah, Mouvedre Rose from Paso Robles is barrel fermented to create both a roundness and balanced taste. Lovely, fresh strawberry notes with a nice, crisp finish, this Rose compliments many foods with its acidity. Personal favorite is with Cioppino.

Craig and Becca have been in agriculture for over forty years. In 2005, they planted the first 300 vines on their farm after exploring the wines of California, Oregon, Spain, Portugal, France and Italy.  After years of sharing wines with family and friends as a hobby, their children have grown the winery and now ship to all parts of the country.  Two of their children are in the winemaking industry and two others play a part in operating Timshel Vineyards.  All current wines are from the Paso Robles region while a Pinot Noir program has started in Oregon under the GRIT label set to release soon.

Winemaker’s Favorite

2016 Syrah

Our Syrah comes from our Holmestead Vineyard in Paso Robles. This area is known for its Rhones being slightly spicy and robust flavors of plum and cranberry. 18 months on French oak.

Holmestead Vineyards

Nate manages the growing for Holmestead Vineyards.  They provide our Syrah, Mouvedre and Grenache grapes grown in the Templeton area of the greater Paso Robles region.  Paso has a unique climate of 100 degree days and 55 degree nights during the summer.  This climate combined with the many different soil types produces amazing wines.

Vina Robles

Vina Robles has a small, sustainable vineyard outside their tasting room in Paso Robles.  We get our Cabernet Sauvingnon, Verdelho, Vermentino, and Syrah/Grenache/Tempranillo blend here.  These grapes get a lot of heat but the quantity is limited to achieve quality sugar and pH levels.
